At Unik, we want to be at the forefront and contribute to the responsible use and spread of AI.<\/span><\/span> For the benefit of our customers, the Danish IT industry and the rest of the world.<\/span><\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n

Artificial intelligence is no longer something we only see in movies.<\/span><\/span> It is an omnipresent reality – also in Denmark – and especially within software development.<\/span><\/span> But with new, groundbreaking technology, there is often an increased risk of misuse.<\/span><\/span> That is why it is important that someone takes charge and leads the way.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Thus, Unik is participating in a new nationwide research project facilitated by Syddansk Univeristet – University of Southern Denmark and six other educational and research institutions.<\/span><\/span> With the project Human-Centered Adoption of Artificial Intelligence for Software Engineering in Denmark<\/em> – also called project AI4SE1DK – solutions will be developed with human use and ethics in mind.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

At Unik, we take great pride in being at the forefront: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

– We are excited to participate in the project, which aims to ensure a sustainable and ethically responsible implementation of AI in Denmark.<\/span><\/span> The project will not only contribute to the optimization of our development processes but also prepare us for new AI-driven product opportunities as it will also give us a deeper understanding of the skills needed for software development in an AI-centric world, says Bo Jensen, Head of Development at Unik.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The goal of the AI4SE1DK project is to make the implementation of AI in the development processes of Danish software companies more efficient and at the same time create a best practice for responsible AI integration that can inspire the rest of the world. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

For Unik, it is also about securing the future framework for software development: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

– It is important for us to be at the forefront when it comes to securing sustainable frameworks for the future development of software and thus the work processes, which are met by the developers of the future. Just as Unik has continuously supported the arrival of the IT University in Vejle next year, where the first students will be on a bachelor’s degree program in AI, says Unik’s CEO, Jens Find.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The project is partially funded by the Innovation Fund Denmark with 20 million Danish kroner and runs until 2029. Unik will contribute with 750 working hours annually for testing and responsible implementation of AI in our software development.<\/span><\/span> That is a total of 3000 hours. In addition, other Danish IT companies are participating.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In this regard, Unik will continuously keep customers, partners and other interested parties informed about our participation in the project on our social media, in our newsletters and here a\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
