Vejle, 7. maj \u2013 Unik System Design (“Unik”) and Zig, two prominent providers of software solutions for the real estate industry, are joining forces to accelerate the digital transformation of property management across Europe. Together, the group employs more than 500 people, serving 1000+ customers across five different countries.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The strategic merger will accelerate the development and rollout of an expanded product portfolio, including HabiCen, Unik\u2019s next\u2011generation SaaS platform for managing complex property portfolios, alongside Zig\u2019s established suite covering ERP, CRM, property maintenance, and BI solutions. The combination brings together complementary products, deep sector expertise and a broader geographic footprint to support customers with efficiency, automation and end-to-end digital workflows.<\/p>\n

In recent years, Unik has sharpened its focus on PropTech by investing in modern, internationally scalable SaaS solutions for next\u2011generation property management. The merger reinforces this strategy and comes at a pivotal moment in the development of HabiCen. Zig contributes additional resources that will accelerate innovation, enables the integration of complementary features including advanced AI capabilities, supported by its Microsoft partnership and offers an established international footprint.<\/p>\n

The combined group will primarily operate across the Benelux, the Nordics, Germany, and France. Andrew de la Haije, CEO of Zig, will lead the new group as CEO, while Jens Find, current CEO of Unik, will take the role of Managing Director Nordics.<\/p>\n

The transaction is structured as a legal merger, subject to customary regulatory approvals, with funds advised by Main Capital Partners (\u201cMain\u201d) retaining a majority shareholding, with a significant minority held by the founders and management.<\/p>\n

The transaction reflects Main\u2019s buy-and-build strategy, combining two complementary platforms to create a category-leading software group for digital property management.<\/p>\n
